Introduction: Mail Motor Service, under the aegis of the Ministry of Communication, Department of Posts, Government of India, is inviting applications for the recruitment of 78 Driver (Ordinary Grade) positions in the General Central Services, Group C, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial category from the Open Market.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a valid driving license for both light and heavy motor vehicles, along with knowledge of motor mechanisms. Additionally, they should have a minimum of three years of driving experience in both light and heavy motor vehicles. A 10th standard or Matric Pass certificate from a recognized Board or Institute is required. While not mandatory, candidates with three years of service as a Home Guard or Civil Volunteer are preferred.
Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 and 27 years of age. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for OBC (up to 03 years) and SC/ST (up to 05 years) candidates.
Salary: Selected candidates will receive a salary in the range of ₹ 19900 to ₹ 63200/- in Level 2 as per the Pay Matrix specified in Part A of Schedule of CCS (Revised Pay) Rules 2016, in addition to admissible allowances.
